And after ?

If the children do not go upwind :
We will come back to parents after this first session to let you know what type of course format we can help them progress : Private, semi-private or group lessons. It depends on the child’s height, weight and motivation. The ideal is for us to open slots with other children of their size if we have other requests at the same time.

If the children go upwind :
They can easily join adult courses or supervised navigation (to be validated with us). The other option is to direct them to thematic “improvement” sessions :

  • Strapless
  • Jump / freestyle (with our partner TRIDERLAND)

FAQs

After a first “Kids Kite” lesson, the instructor will be able to give you the possible options so that your child can continue with the goal of autonomy.
Private, semi-private or group sessions, the child’s age, comfort in the water and autonomy will be taken into account to ensure safe progress.

Our children’s courses start from 8 years old and end at 13 years old. Parents wanting to take part in the activity can. If they want to take the boat with us but do not participate in the activity, a “boat drop-off” supplement will be charged.

The courses are carried out in shallow water. Despite this, children must know how to swim and not be afraid of water. We can support them so that they improve, but it is necessary that they have had a first contact with water in the past. At school, at summer camp, in extracurricular activities.

We recommend sessions in small groups (private, semi-private lessons) or in groups of people who know each other! Other children or parents can take part in the activity to form a common synergy based on child-friendly session objectives. A group can reach a maximum of 6 people for the theme of this lesson. Let us know the ages of all participants in order to best plan the lesson.

  • It allows you to gain ease in a natural aquatic environment.
  • It allows the child to project themselves into a three-dimensional environment and to be more comfortable with the conceptualization of space (objective of geometry at school).
  • It allows us to address the notion of environmental responsibility specific to outdoor sports. As a practitioner, he must respect the natural environment which allows him to practice the activity.
  • It allows us to address the notion of safety responsibility specific to many outdoor sports. My actions have a significant influence on me and/or others. I have to stay focused and listen to instructions.
